Each year at Christmas time we get all the grandkids dressed up in our awesome costumes and read the nativity story while they act it out. Usually the only girl we have to play the part of Mary is Shaylee or now Hadley and they have been paired up with Nic, which to imagine is like David and Goliath, ha ha. It's hectic with the small space but it's always awesome anyway.
Mom, Joey, Stacia, Richard, and I went to Denver to visit Ben and Dom. They were very good hosts and we had a lot of fun. We chilled at their house and played games, went out to eat, and as portrayed in these pictures we went to a place called Red Rocks. Red Rocks is a huge amphitheater. We hiked up all the stairs to see the view from the top, it was beautiful. There was a lot of people on the seating area reading, talking, or working on their sprints. When we got to the top we went into this little souvenier shop that had this hall you could walk down and see all the people/groups who had ever performed at the theater on individual plaques. It was neat. Then we went back to Ben's and enjoyed the rest of our vacation. (On a side note the drive up was hillarious, we played games like humming songs while everyone else guessed and stuff like that. Then when we got to the long drives through the fields and Joey was driving, my Mom mentioned how it was a boring drive, so Joey said "I can fix that" and he laid on the horn for so long, it was hillarious.)
