I suck, and I know it!!

Okay, okay, I realize I suck at blogging!!  Every now and again I make a valiant effort to catch up, and stay updated, which works for awhile then I drop into oblivion again.  My bad.  Anywho, here I go again.  I am really going to try to update my blog at least once a week, then I can print it out each year and have a fun record of my family.  That will hopefully diminish my regret of not scrap-booking :).  Alexa is now almost two and a half.  She is so big, and so smart!!  She knows the majority of her colors, and she can count to ten!!  She knows bits and pieces of the alphabet, but she hasn't got every letter yet.  Just a few more and we will have our ABC's.  She loves to talk to people when we run errands.  Always saying "hi, how are you doing?"  People just love her!!  And why not, she is adorable.  We have finally got rid of the binki!!  Yay.  Last Sunday she just didn't ask for it when she went to sleep, so I put it up and change the subject when she does ask for it.  She is doing so well, she hardly even misses it!!  We are expecting another little one in early January.  We are super excited, but nervous as well because we don't have insurance.  Go us!!  I have chosen to go natural, to try to cut costs.  We will have to see how it goes though because I have issues during pregnancy (morning sickness, high blood pressure, pre-eclampsia, and bed rest), that are already starting again this time.  I also had some trouble delivering the first time because my hips tilt forward more than usual so this blocks the birth canal a bit and makes it hard to deliver.  I narrowly avoided a c-section with Alexa, so we'll see.  I don't think Alexa quite understands what it all means, but when we ask her where the baby is she points to mommy's tummy and says "baby in there."  She tells us she is excited to have a brother or sister (we don't know which cause we don't find out) but we will see how it goes when the baby comes.  Alexa will be a huge help, and love the baby no doubt.  I just hope I do well splitting my time so she doesn't feel left out or forgotten.  Anyway, Richard works for Hinkley Dodge, and has for about a month now.  He really likes it and can see himself staying there for years to come, he feels like this is where he is supposed to be.  He has begun online training and will do physical training after ninety days so he can start doing warranty jobs and such.  This will help him make more, and have continuous work.  I am a stay at home mom, and love it.  Sometimes I get "bored" (for lack of a better word) so if I call you and just keep talking, about nothing and everything, it is simply because I need some adult interaction :).  We are working on selling our house, we will move into an apartment for a couple years to save and let Richard get comfortable in his job, then we will buy the house we want to stay in, and hopefully get a better 'deal'.  That is the life of the Woods's for now, and I promise to try to update at least once a week from now on.
