Cousins

April 14, 2013. We were over at Joey's and Stacia's house after Conner's baby blessing.  All three baby cousins (Conner, Shelby, Teegan),  so cute!! And, my cute Alexa girl looking on.

Silly

April 14, 2013. Alexa is being silly showing off her cute new outfit. Also, Shelby's tiny feet.

Fun day

April 12, 2013. Alexa was hanging out in the baby toys again! In the afternoon we babysat Kenzie. Alexa and Kenzie played dress up and smiled for the camera. And later, Shelby showed us her skills at sitting up at Grandma's house.

Where's Shelby?

April 11, 2013. We went over to my moms today and I put my sleeping Shelby on the couch while I went upstairs for a minute. She started crying, so I ran downstairs to get her. I noticed she had kicked a pillow that was at her feet onto her face, she didn't know what was going on!! I snapped a quick picture and promptly removed the pillow. Silly kid.

Chillen

April 11, 2013. Shelby is just chillen in the saucer, leaning back and relaxing. Both my girls have done it and I think it is so cute. Alexa was being so cute with Shelby too. They love to smile and play together. Then, after Shelby got out of the saucer, Alexa leaned into it head first and kept walking around it while sticking her hands out the leg holes. Silly girl.

Strong abs

April 10, 2013. I got the girls bundled up so we could go outside for a while. When we came back in I leaned Shelby up against some pillows so I could take off my sweatshirt and stuff. I turned around to do so, then turned back to see Shelby sitting up!! I laid her back down and watched her sit up!! She would not stay laying down! She is getting so big, and strong!!  Later, I brought Shelby in to the kitchen and put her in her high chair while I made dinner and Alexa played. I turned around to see my sweet girl fast asleep. I love my family!

Daddy's parrot

April 9, 2013. Daddy has held both our girls like they are a parrot sitting on his arm. Both girls have loved sitting like this with their dad. This picture is of Shelby and Dad watching tv before bed.

Elmo

April 9, 2013. Alexa loves Elmo, and wore him to bed from head to foot! She was intently watching a movie and helping me with laundry in her Elmo gear.

My girls!

Shelby is three months now. She is growing so big and so fast. Alexa continues to be a huge help! She is always ready to get a diaper, grab Shelby's Binky, or help Shelby out when she loses her blanket. Alexa celebrated her third birthday on the 18th of March!! She is so smart and so big, it is amazing to see her learn and grow everyday! She'll tell me sometimes that she wants to go to school, she loves to learn!! We are now in the stage with Alexa where she copies everything you say and do. It's really awesome to see her catch on to new things! Sometimes she catches onto too much though. Not that we are bad, but Richard and I watch what we say really close now! Shelby is getting so close to rolling over and she's trying to push herself up into crawling position during tummy time. She has also started sitting on her own. We love our girls, and continue to be amazed by them daily! They teach us so much.

April 8, 2013. Shelby started sitting up all by herself today!! She is so strong.

Shelby Lou Who

April 7, 2013. We went to Grandma's house for the last sessions of General Conference today, Richard was holding Shelby and he claimed he was not sleeping. Shelby was content just laying with daddy. Later Shelby had some tummy time.

The ducks are back

Every year at least a couple ducks come and make a home in the swimming pool. This year was no different. April 6, 2013 we were at Grandma's house for General Conference. Alexa went outside to ride scooters with Shaylee, I showed her the ducks and she kept quacking at them. Silly girl.
